Your best bazaar deal ever?Follow

my best deal ever was just shortly after EQ2 came out. bought a ring of dark intellect for 1 k.

apart form that, the seller off the PBB might have priced it for 1 pp on purpose. that's what I e.g. did last night, to clear my trader on ant. Bayle. some semi rare pages/words/runes for 1 PP, most sold within 60 mins (had them all up for 1 pp each).

An FYI for other traders. Some of us will keep track of how much a vendor will buy items from us and buy yours when your price drops below what vendor resell is, secure in the knowledge that if I dont sell it to a walk-bye, I can still make plat from selling it to them.

My best deal so far... umm sorry,, I am getting used to seeing things that I am putting up for sale being priced 10-15 plat below what vendors buy for. (Go buy, then I have two to sell and no competition..) I have not shopped a whole lot for gear, just spell components when I am low. Most people in bazaar have things more expensive than I care to get. Of course, I love to give my customers good deals.

I did the Aid Fimli quest about 30 times before selling price of Cloak of Greater Pernicity dropped too close to price of Gold Tipped Boar Horn to make it a huge profit to group in PoI for the nodrop part of quest.

After then I found lots of the tradable handin items for OOW armor quests selling on merchants for 1 copper, some of the rarer ones I later sold for up to 30K pp each.

The line of druid heals often referred to as complete heals, they're not, but you know which ones i mean, the first one is level 58, called "tunare's renewal", it heals for 2.5kHP and i think drops from a luclin boss, Umbral Plains possibly, maybe even harder than that, anyway, the hard boss you have to kill to get it makes a lot of people think it fetches a high price.

At level 57, i didn't know this, i just put it into a search on allakhazam, and saw it was sold in shadowhaven for 6pp, so i went there, bought one, got to the bazaar to buy my other level 58 spells and looking in my bags i saw that i'd accidentally bought 2 copies of the spell, so i put it into bazaar search to see if there were any, there were quite a few up, the lowest price being baout 1.5k.

In the space of a week, i spent about 500pp on those spells from SH, and sold them for anything between 500pp and 1.2kpp, i thought i was the richest person in the bazaar, level 57 with about 80k in the bank, i was rolling in it

wow... my best bazaar deal... had a rust encrusted tunic with a healing 2 effect on it, given to me by a RL friend. When my ranger

finailly out grew it, I offered it back to my friend, he didn't want it anymore said sell it for 1.5K or 1.7K. Good deal right? Well, my poor old person eyes didn't see the little dot in the 1.5 or 1.7 so I put it on my trader mule for 17K, yeah... seventeen thousand platinum pieces. Well, after about 2 months I decided to lower the price and mis-typed it to 20,000 plat. I had just posted my new price increase and did an OOC to Bazaar New Lower Price! just 20K. A ranger and a SK got into a bidding war and finially the SK bought it for 23K. I contacted my friend and offered him the profit of 7K and he immdeiately phoned me and was having a fit on the floor. He pointed out he had said One POINT five to One POINT seven plat, a respectable profit. I was SOOOOOOOO embarrased. It took me almost a month to find the guy who bought the tunic intending to offer him a refund of the money he paid. He had already sold it for a profit on an Ebay deal. <shakes head in amazement> [:banghead]

My best was components for Remove Greater Curse, I got the rare one for 1K, an incredible bargain.

I heard about somebody buying a Wild Lord's Tunic for 6pp from a vendor. He then sold it for 20k. As for great deals from baz players, I haven't found any yet.

This was when the item was first available, I got my Paladin his Cloak of Greater Pernicity for 200 plat.

Other Cloaks were 20k plus..lol....can we say Typo! #

It says it drops from Nezzy and Phurz. I've killed Nezzy no less then 15 times and Phurz about 5 times or so, and have never seen that item drop. Most people have a hard enough time just finding the Nezzy/Phurz PH (they pop from the same PH), but with a bard and a little use of /loc, it's pretty easy to find and the respawn is extremely quick.

Best deal ever?

Off the top of my head I'd have to say the ball of Golem clay I bought for 85k and sold it for 195k a day later.

Same day I bought an Radiant permafrost aug for 25k and sold it 10 mins later for 50k.
