Hey, well recently, I've been wanting to play Everquest, as I've only "played" it (for an hour, so not sure if it really counts) once before. It was very fun, and I'm gonna leave it at that.

Now I have a problem. None of my computers support recommended requirements for eq2 in any way, and only one part of my gaming system is better than minimum requirements (rest of the parts meets minimum requirements), and that's in video card, so I'm afraid that I might just be wasting money for eq2 as I might get choppy graphics and horrid lag, but I know all of my pc's can easily handle eq1, which is to be expected. Which one, which one?!

Help me decide please, and thanks in advance. ~_^

I'd say go for EQ1. I don't think EQ2 is gonna be fun if you are just meeting the minimum. Besides, EQ1 has an incredible amount of content to offer. And pretty well established.

most PC's can run MMPORG's even under Min Req do what you think.. i would stick with EQ tho.. Due to the fact more content, just mostly theres going to be more.

And there will be a huge lag/flood and hard to play EQ2 due to the fact it probably will be full of people when starting out.

Maybe I'll buy EveryQuest: Platinum then instead of preordering eq2. And thanks for the help!~ ^^

EQ2 has pretty steep min requirements...many who play EQ1 will have to upgrade.

EQ:Platinum has a massive amount of content packed into it, especially for the price. The first month is included in the $30 (or less if you find it on sale) if you are starting up a new account with it. Have fun :)
