i would ignore the infamous Flaming most people do and just read the knowledge based ones, Most of these people have said good idea's for "Farming" money while also getting exp on the side.

Like said you need not buy every last spell that you can get for your Druid, be it you only need 5 spells that level JUST get those 5 not all 12 or 14 or what ever it is, be sparingly with what you need and dont need, if you dont need it wait for another time when you can actually spare the money to get the spell.

I have been playing for about 3 years now and my farthest along character is 55.. with a , 41, 36,34,31,26, and 6 behind it, it's also about what you wanna do, dont listen to these people telling you to quit because all you do is kill things,

What is the average thing people come to games for? (levels) high end stuff, the best things out there.. in EQ what requires that? (levels).

People are going to flame and flame and throw stupid advice at you but Cobra and a couple others have shown your/told you great advice i would follow their footsteps if i were you.

Spider/spiderling silks are a great seller on all servers i have played on so i would recommend it..

Like they all say without money you get no where nowadays.

Yes, Steamfont Mountains kobold camps are very nice. There are 3 very close together, near the SW part of the zone. The kobolds are non social (except the kobold shamans, who will heal their friends if you fight near them), so you can go beat up a kobold while 3 of his buddies sit there and watch him die. Also, sometimes they drop the aforementioned Steamfont Spring Water, which sells to players reasonably well. The only problem is that they will all be green to you now...but if you don't mind not getting xp, this should be no problem. (If you ever make some more characters, this is a great place to level them from lvls 5-7 or 8.)

On my server, spiderling silks are worth about 10pp more per silk than spider silks, but both sell well. If I put spiderling silks on my bazaar trader and leave her up for the night, 4 times out of 5 they have sold in the morning. Again, all the spiders (that I know of) who drop spiderling silks will be green to you by now, but there are several places you can fight spiders and get xp and spider silks, like East Karana.

There is also a bandit camp in North Karana where you can make good money. I think the highest lvl bandit there is 17, but I'm pretty sure the bandits will assist each other, so it may be a little high for you right now. If so, you can probably fight there in a few more lvls, though. The camp is actually a farm, with "farmers" (bandits in disguise), bandits, and brigands. (To figure out where it is, go to and look at the West Karana map...the bandit farm is numbered 6. Besides dropping bronze weapons, these bandits sometimes drop red bandit sashes, which you can turn in to Chesgard Sydwen (in the SE corner of South Qeynos). He will give you xp, faction, money, and an item (often bronze), which you can sell to the merchant standing right next to him. I still fight at this farm when I want a little extra money.

Edit: Oops, I don't think the link worked. Oh well, just type in the website, I guess.

LOL, welcome back Leiany. Good call Cobra.

Leiany/MordenRaspCleric talks a lot but never actually SAYS anything. It's sad that someone could come to a board so filled with information, spend SOOO much time there and make SOOO many posts and still be SOOO ignorant to the game and interacting with people.

Someone came to this board asking for help, but did you provide any? No. All you did was insult them.

They say the definition of insanity is someone who keeps doing the same thing over and over again but expects different results each time.

If all you are going to do is change your name, but keep pulling all the same crap you pulled before, then you're crazy if you think people will act any differently towards you. You don't help ANYONE with your posts, you just start arguments to help fill the empty void that is your life.

Besides, I thought you said you had nothing more to say here? (As said by yourself in this thread: Leiany )

I normally don't jump people in threads but this was started by MRC/Leiany and it's my pleasure to shut it down. BTW, Ego-shooter is not a term we commonly use here in the U.S. so most people would not be aware of it as a term for FPS's(First-person shooters).

Sorry Phnxkeep for doing this in your thread but we are all beginners/ newbies at some point, MRC never stopped being one though.

As far as making coin, my best advice is to learn the prices of items in the bazaar. Make a wish-list of things you'd like to own, and learn the prices of those specifically. Learn what the common price is and when a good deal is so you can buy the items cheap, then SELL them! Yes, you want the item, but if you buy it and are broke again then how good is that? Buy and sell the items on your list. After a number of sales you'll have extra money and won't miss keeping an item here and there. The key points are to never spend ALL your money on yourself, you don't want to be broke again. You can start doing this at level 1 even on a new server. At level one you'll want to have a few bat wings, bone chips and/or spider silks to sell to start yourself. At ANY level if you are actually broke, those are good items to sell for a few starting plats.

Overthere and Field of Bone as well as Kurn's Tower are good hunting places for you. Most of OT will kick your butt, but near the WW zone is a lot of stuff you can hunt. The bird's beaks sell for a plat or two also so that's a good item to grab to raise cash.

Personally buying and selling is the best low level money though. I started with 600pp in the bazaar and 3 months later I had 100k. Mind you that was all I did for 3 months. I recommend setting up a trader and leaving it on while you sleep/work etc(usually requires a broadband internet connection).

Eventually you'll have everything you wanted on your wishlist and will be able to set your goals on even better gear, gear you never thought you'd be able to afford.

(Disclaimer: It's not easy and in the beginning takes a LOT of time to know what you're doing, but it is rewarding. Once you have a list of gear and prices you can look up items on your list and find the deals only using a few minutes a day.)
