I miss "farming" vendors.

Heck I still mine the vendors. Its been very very good to me.
They probably take all the stuff and trade it into the Tribute masters for the buffs.

Used to be anything you sold to a merchant was 'in their inventory' even though it was not visible. You could take a chance that some nice item would pop into view if you bought out one of the visible inventory slots (or two). Stacks of spiderling silks or HQ pelts might appear upon the next right-click.

lol i mine the vendors now,but only cuz the other day i was selling my l337 ubah lewtz and i found mysterious glowing sleeves on a merchant for 10pp. Went to bazaar and they were selling for 4k cheapest. I was one happy camper.

Oh, I still shop the vendors all the time. When soe shuts it down, I hit as many merchants as I can, as when it comes back up, they all have new stuff, recently sold to them.

Farming merchants: They used to have more stuff than you could see, so lets say you bought a "rusty sword" that was showing, and a new item would appear in the last slot, let's say a high quality bear pelt, that you could not see before. There was more to it but that is the basics.
