....is called Netherbian Lair and my Ranger Loves it!
I haven't got much time to actually play at the moment so grouping is ooq and I parked my ranger there to skill up a bit and it works great =)
Yesterday I spent 1 1/2 hours there pulling fungoid sporlings which conned dark blue to my 20th Ranger. There tunnels are near the Zone Line to Dawnshroud Peeks where no Guards are KS and if I pull a second one by mistake I just zone and return after a med break to usually find one of the 2 waiting somewhere outside the caves.
Skilling up is easy: I root and then archer, when the root wears off I recast, fall back, archer again. If mobs turn to flee I finish them in cc instead of rooting again so I dont waste any mana. In only 1 1/2 hours my archery went up 17 points (87 now and doing a crit about 1 in 30 shots) and as I had to make lots of arrows (during med breaks of course) fletching went up by 8 points too without having to waste the arrows in selling to a vendor.
I only killed 5 mobs during that time as they tend to heal quite fast as long as I dont score crits so XP is lame but thats not my goal anyway.
I decided to camp my ranger permantly there only running to SH for fletching stuff (and maybe a trip to GF to smith the components for my cultural fletching at 150+) until my archery is maxed out. I guess a 22nd ranger with an archery of 200, armed with a Blessed Faydark Thunderbolt and shooting Blessed Warrior Arrows will make quite a good hunter (even with ordinary arrows I allready shoot from a distance whrere I barely see my target).
Sorry to brag but I've read so much **** lately about the worth of rangers that I couldn't resist =)
Anyway: All you rangers from 20 to 30 - get your bow and fletching kit and visit the Netherbian Lair - you wont regret it!
