Has anyone else had eq crash every night in the bazaar since last patch? I run 2 computers and when i get home from work EQ is allways gone or crashed. I'm getting the innactivity error also. I've even tried setting my traders AFK with no luck any help would be appreciated.

I think they put a timer in for inactivity with the last patch that kicks you. I went out to mow the lawn and left my bard playing his drum. came back and was logged out.

Anyone else?

Yup... Happened to me yesterday. i was logged out due to "inactivity" which was only an hour. Well, the bazaar may never be the same.

I've had traders logged in non-stop since the last patch with no troubles, crashes, or disconnects. Remember, the 'inactive' message occurs everytime you are disconnected and sit at the server/character select screens for more than a few minutes. You aren't being intentionally logged out by EQ.

Had the same expiriences as Samatman. I just guess my connection is to blame if I get thrown out because sometimes I stay online for 24+ hours in the bazaar followed by 3 crashes in 1 hour.....

I don't think they put an activity timer in the game that is kicking you out or the bazaar trader thing wouldn't work for anyone. I think you got booted for some reason and since you were afk it sat at your character screen for too long and THAT timer said you were inactive too long. Just my 2 cents, though.

I've been logged in for better than 2 days now so I know its not due to an inactivity timer. Mine goes through periods of bugginess too. Sometimes I will be logged in for a week solid sometimes I get kicked every half an hour.

It happens to me as well. Someone told me if you left autoattack on it helps matters, it does a bit but every so often my system crashes me back to the logon screen. Since I am in the middle of a price war for leather padding (Teriani) this is having an adverse affect on my resources. This has only started happening since the last patch.

Bristlebane has crashed at least 3 or 4 times since the patch that I know of. Twice for only a few minutes.

I think there are other reasons for getting disconnected in the bazaar. I seem to crash sometimes when bards or others are spamming magic and effects constantly. But not all the time, so it's really hard to say. I stay on for 24 hours or more, then get disconnected for some reason.

I can tell if it's the server, by chesking the merchants in the bazaar to see if they reset.

Maybe EQ finally smartened up and kicked you out for playing your drum for hours at a time. The lag is bad enough in the bazaar with having moron bards leaving their toon in there playing for hours at a time. How about being considerate of others and go find a field to go sit in.
