The quest structure in EQ is not like this.

There are the newbie armour quests for most races and then a pot-pourri of quests which may or may not suit different levels and classes.

There used to be mid-level (30's) armour quests - indeed the quests still exist. However the rewards are 4 or 5 expansions out of date and all involve significant expenditure. Bracers of the Reverent for clerics for example give a WIS +5 ac9 bracer but require two bars of enchanted platinum each. Nowadays you can get better in the bazaar for less pp.

As a ranger your would be the Ivy Etched armour. Look up the armour under that name and you can judge if you want to do the quests.

So it is a matter of looking at the zones you are likely to be able to fight in (Zone Level Chart) and then looking at quest lists for that zone. If any look interesting then look up the full quest and start collecting the bits.

Beware of the Twilight Sea quests. They invariably require one component whose rarity is out of all proportion to the reward.
