Vendor Shoppin'Follow

Ok, so I went a shoppin' last night looking to see what certain vendors in my home town had. I came across a few items I've never seen before so I bought them. When I got to the bazaar, I was astounded by the prices I saw:

Wind-Worn Stone --> paid 175p each for 2 --> bazaar price 1000p
A Drop of Pure Rain --> bought 31p --> bazaar 1400p
Sand Verbena --> bought 11p --> bazaar 150p

and the kicker...

Emerald Colored Mephit Scales -->bought 18p -->bazaar 10,000p

There were two traders with the scales both priced at 10,000 but no one answered me if that was a real price or just over-inflation because no one else was selling them cheaper. How accurate are these bazaar prices?
