Maybe the entrance to MM isn't the best place to bind and the go AFK all day.

Doh!!!

This guy lost around 10 or more levels going from 33 when I first saw him to 22 when I logged for the night.

Bet he really was Stressed Out when he got back.

Haha! Again someone with a bad name ends up living up to it.

Would SOE do anything about that? Would he be able to get any exp back or would they consider it up to him to find a rez? That's something I've always been curious abuot.

Maybe he was doing it on purpose. People will delevel for various resons (especially on PvP).

I did something similar by accident. My cleric had been with a group fighting in Crystal Caverns, so I was bound in front of Ry'gorr Fort in EW. Later on, I moved on to Overthere, but forgot to re-bind. After awhile I went AFK sitting high on a wall near the ledge. Well, a few hours later I came back to find myself waist-deep in corpses in EW. Smiley: bah

I went and looted most of them to make them disappear, before I realized that, yes I am a cleric! and should be rezzing myself. I did keep 7 or 8 corpses around long enough to make some smiley faces. I think I de-leveled from low 40s to mid 30s.

I saw this a couple of times back when the Saryrn trade zone was North Freeport. Evils would go AFK, fall asleep, get kidnapped by poison monkeys or whatever and some N. FP guard would come along and give them the smack down. Die, repop at bind (which was in N. FP, naturally), rinse and repeat. One guy lost about five levels (like 58-53 back when 60 was the cap and lvls 51+ were sheer hell) and owned a mound of corpses before a GM pity-teleported him to a safe spot. Don't know if he ever got his xp back though.

Oh my god.. 10 levels? It's one thing to bind somewhere and then accidentally **** off a guard, but binding in MMC is probably the worst idea ever.

Thats a lot of dying. If you want to lose 10 levels at least let me sacrifice you so I can get some essence emeralds. :)
