Greater Faydark on Solusek RoFollow

#1 Jun 28 2004 at 6:00 PM Rating: Decent
Ok, sweet Jesus. Can it get any more depressing? A year and a half ago, this zone was the BUSIEST place on the whole damn server. Now when I go there, there'll be some crazy level 65 Arch Douche camping the damn Priest of Discord and like 6 newbies. |Tears hair out| I can't even walk through the Bazaar because there's so much lag, and there's only traders there anyway.

Oh, and how come about 20% of the population on Solusek Ro speaks Spanish? I got my regents in Spanish on Tuesday and now am putting it to use.

Sounds to me like you quit before Luclin and just started recently again. People moved from the old merchant zones to the obvious dedicated merchant zone in Luclin - there is nothing you can do to change it. You need to turn off traders in the Bazaar and that should get rid of most of your trouble there. The hide traders button is located on the /baz window. It's on the far right bottom and you might need to make the window larger to see it.

Spanish speakers preferentially play on SolRo because in Spanish it is derived from Sol Usted Robo or "Loot of the Sun will belong to you". You are fortunate that you have a perfect place to roleplay your knowledge of a non-english language!

Yup things have changed alot...I remember when the Nexus used to be so crowded with people asking for KEI (at the time any level can have KEI), now there are maybe around 20 people in that zone at a time.

That's a serious point Samatman. I'm English but as a former linguist I like to practice my language skills.
I put an alt into a French speaking guild (Tarew Marr - Seignieurs de la Lune Noir) and put my nose in every now and again to absorb the francophone vibe - fun!

And on Tarew Marr I have chances to hablar con los hispanicos every now and then.

Man! This game is an education
