I got my first AA with Blitz, got her tailoring skill to 115, farmed about 24 stacks of spider silks so I can start making wu's, and tried out EQ windows. I've always played my two accounts just like regular. Log in one toon, and then log in the other. Let me tell you what --- EQ WINDOWS rocks! I had gotten to where I didn't even play both accounts, but no more!

I got Firefingers to 30, and am working on group mana regen leadership xp.

55 Halfling druid, 1 AA, Hole Raid, PoFear Raid
30 High elf wizard

edit:
I got dawnflower seeds and a red sands cactus for crow chaser's ranger- just two more peices and he'll have a foraging machete :D w00t!

Gratz on the AA!

Do you have EQ loaded twice to your computer or do you have it work from the same files?

Friday - 20th AA Ding with the Druid grinding PoV

Saturday - Back-to back LDoN Adventures with my son and a few guildies. Picked up a nice +Wis Augment Item

Sunday - Created a new toon on Venril Sathir to see what the fuss is about with the tutorial. I was really impressed and managed to kit out the toon with cloth armour, 4 spells and a good few skills before hitting home town.
Later, my main joined a pick-up HoH Raid where there were one or two language problems - Apparently there is an ambiguity about the phrase "Don't Root the Named Mobs" which resulted in losing the MA and half the kiters, but all in all it was a blast.

Monday - RL Employer Faction Quest. I'm anticipoating a loooong slow exp grind this week Smiley: banghead

Not necessary. The only advantage of a 2nd installation of EQ may be if you have a 2nd hard drive, but with a decent HDD one installation will run twice quite happily. (A friend regularly runs 3 instances off the same installation).

played Sat for about an hour in Gunthak, almost made 43 - first time I played for almost 2 weeks...

did some sightseing with a colleague from US on Sunday. I asked her some stage: " so, you remeber the way to the office?" she replied "sure, am a ranger". well, I then thought about Jennocks Sig "lemme tank, goddammit". she laughed, and guess what, yes, she got a 65 ranger on MM. we laughed so hard Smiley: lol

after drinking with 2 more lads from the UK in the evening, got home drunk at 1 a.m. started EQ, gained a lvl, died twice, lost it... went to bed. will wait a week and test the graveyard :-P

Friday: Spent the night in Gunthak leveling my box cleric, ding 34,35.

Saturday: Went on a parade with my baseball team then came home and mowed the yard. Tried to log on to EQ for several hours while they were having...uh.. problems, finally got on in time to scout the area for our 10th ring event. We got everyone grouped up and ready to go amazingly only 20 min after the events start time. We managed to get down to the last 3 giants in the final wave and Nadaria spawned, I was too busy trying to tank the 3 in the doorway to let my scouts know to kite him around. He managed to escape us for now, but he won't do so next time.

Sunday: All day with the cleric in Gunthak and Dulak, ding 36,37,38,39 (cheal woot!!).

Edit:extra lines make it easy to read ;)

Saturday, started to do some hard-core Chardok faction work in Frontier and Nurga with my necro. Kept dying in unfortunate places. Also did an adventure with my cleric; so easy and boring I ended up watching Daredevil to keep myself awake. Bit of a contradiction, that...

Sunday - resumed faction work in Nurga. Bought some buffs, headed to the mines, promptly died. Returned, started fighting, got some buffs inside. After complaining that I have a tendency to take an unrezzed death after every 4 blues of exp, thereby not gaining any ground, managed to break the front of Nurga and grind out most of a level, Great exp at 50.

Heh.. I joined a pick-up Aerin'Dar (however it's spelled.. glass dragon in PoV) raid once. Would have been quicker and less annoying to just throw myself down the PoK elevator shaft a couple times.

Anyway! On the home front, I didn't do much. Helped a friend get his Pureblood components from Nadox which took waaaayyy longer than it should have. Had some necro try to kill a named, got adds, realize he sucked and decided that training us was better than dying alone. Or maybe he thought we'd kill all his adds for him, but he never bothered to actually ask for help (with so much as a /y), instead opting to run in circles in the middle of our group with a trail of trolls chasing him. Idiot low health frenzied our mobs which had the exact opposite effect of what he was intending. Why he didn't Feign Death is anyone's guess, but I got some steel wrapped leggings out of the deal (oh boy!). Did a LGuk LDoN which I've only done one of before and it went okay when I made the choice to ***** lulling and just CC everything. Trying to lull pull in that theme is a joke and not the "ha ha funny" kind. I'm sure I did something else but I can't remember it so it couldn't have been that great.

In foreign news, I got my SK and BST guilded into Austistic Sharpie on Morden Rasp. Spent some time in Unrest with Dot where I felt like I sucked mightily but managed to get a level despite myself. Went the next day and dinged 20 in the Warrens and got an uber l33t Forlorn Bracer by doing some Shadowknight mano a mano with Prince Gragnar. Did a Tak LDoN as well which was vaguely amusing. My BST spent some time with Mulaman first going to Warslik's and finding it greened out, then Dalnir and realizing that two BSTs trying to duo in Dalnir = teh suck. Finally we ground out some xp in Iceclad off the cougars.

Spent most of the weekend trying to suceed on a PoJ trial. Will have to go back again...

Wiped on the Behemoth in PoI (raid) but it was a lot of fun nonetheless.

Finally got some use out of Summon Corpse when I yanked 3 guildies from the lower reaches of Old Seblis - that was cool.

Dear you are too kind.

/bow

I got my Chardok faction up to warmly finally Di'zok Signet of Service . Now working on Regal Band of Bathezid . My guild is a small guild so we hold smaller raids. Couple of my EP flagged friends came on their first SolC raid with us and they had a blast. I won Shawl of the Firewalker which replaced Obulus Death Shroud that I have worn since lvl 1. So is was not a bad weekend at all in Norrath.

Friday. Went hunting on Eruds Crossing with the ranger Adeste.
Ding 14. Fun hunting when im the only one in the zone. Lots of DB and the occasional LB. Guild meeting for Courtin the Cleric. Old leadership and high level players have been leaving to do more raiding. So guild is now mostly 50's with others in 30's and 40's. Not sure if Guild will survive.

Saturday. Played ranger to 15. Went to Winjon in Gunthak, and Courtin in POK casting temp. Took the beastlord I had at 3 and did the tutorial. Nice little charm. Nice exp. Bl is now 4. Also went over to Elne's dads for a cookout. Played chauffer for the teen and middle daughter as well.

Sunday More work with Winjon in Gunthak, I now have a level 40 paladin. Ran him to Thurgardin to grab Divine purpose spell.
Courtin went with friends to Maidens Eye. Full group with a 65 enchanter doing cc outside of group. Almost bought it when i tossed a dot on a vampire bat that he then mezzes. Mezz broke 3 times untill I was able to warn him it was dotted. Finally root held.
Had some toons under level 10 angry at me when I wouldnt temp them. I suggested they just go and level while learning game mechanics. Then said I was roleplaying as well. One person then said as a cleric I should be casting temp anytime and for free.
I said dots cost 10p 5g each and that I dont roleplay poor. ]
