Yes I do understand the advantages of SOW or wolf form, I'm not THAT dense!
But I'm still going to buy a horse nonetheless, so please, a little more respect and don't knock me for my decisions. This is after all a ROLE PLAYING GAME! it just wouldn't be a fantasy RPG without the option of horses. The same reason why it wouldn't be considered a good RPG if you didn't have the option of swimming to other islands, or jumping from high places. If these options weren't there (including horses) then EQ would just be another EXP grinding experience. I should know because this is exactly what FFXI is!!! only pretty graphics and alot of killing. and no, I'm not gonna buy a horse just to show off. I'm doing it because it would be FUN to have a horse! something to add to the character you're playing. You may think it's a waste, but I think there isn't anything more cool (at the moment of course) than seeing a big line of horses on two ends of a battle field (during a guild war or something like that) and seeing them march down towards each other clashing against each other. or play a messenger being chased by an enemy guild member, desperately trying to get to freeport to deliver news to his guild master. This is just a couple of reasons why horses are used. To add to your character, to add to your story in EQ! So next time, please don't knock the options of horses so easily, I can't think anymore of EQ without them as options. without them, and without the option of swimming and jumping. EQ is just another FFXI. Just another EXP grinding game, and I don't want that. Oh and another thing, the other great thing about EQ is that when the enemies see they can't beat you if you're too strong, they do the natural thing and try to escape like the cowards they are, which adds some spice to the game. In FFXI they just stay there
In terms of spider silk farming, where would be the best place for that now? (only level 5 at the moment unfortunately :( ) do you know of a zone that wouldn't be over crowded with people farming them? should I farm and sell the stacks at bazaar?
