Are LOoN adventures still best for xp?Follow

Greetings all,

I have been away from the game for about 3 months and have since started a brand new account on a new server (Tribunal). Before I left the game a few months ago, I remember spending a great deal of time in the Dungeons on adventures. This seemed the best thing to do after leaving PC for the great xp and good loot. Since I have come back, I am currently a 24 ranger and a 24 wizzie and am having a hard time finding an adventure group. Is this no longer the thing to do? I despise High Keep, so this was a great option for me in my middle levels. If there is something new that has come along, any info would be appreciated. I am finding out that alot has changed in the last few months, especially the "damage bug" on lvl restricted items seems to no longer be an exploit (bummer). Thanks,

At low levels, dungeons are still a nice way to xp, provided you can get a group fast enough. Needless to say, even the slow xp of, say, S. Karana would be better than the zero xp of sitting LFG in Butcherblock.

As you progress, xp get less and less impressive. By the time you're in your 50's, it seriously slows down compared to traditional grinding spots.

LDON adventures are not giving as much exp as they used to, which is probably why all of us are having a harder time finding a group (though it may be due to summer vacation from school etc).

Also, SOE has "hot zones" with exp bonus (Castle Mistmore is one) and some of the LDON crowd is likely going there.

The biggest problem is sitting around trying to flesh out a group. It's not unusual to spend as much time forming the group as it does actually performing the dungeon crawl. Even with a good deal of on-line friends, getting a descent group some nights can take a while. [particularly with my friends where I feel like I'm hearding cats]

If you have the hardware 2-boxing has added a new level of enjoyment over soloing. I can now engage mobs that were way too dangerous to attack while soloing. Eventually even a well 2-boxed combo will hit a point where you need to have a group or raid, but it certainly does make the lower level XP grind a bit easier.

I'm on tribunal too, and I don't often see groups of low/mid lvl 20s going to LDONs...plenty of 30s groups though. They are great xp if you can get them, but since you can't, you could lvl to your 30s somewhere else and then go w/ LDONs. If you don't like HK, you could try Marus Seru...my bard made it thru most of her 20s in there.

You wouldn't happen to work for EDS would you? Any EDS'ers out there would understand this question.
