There is a Gnome-only forge in Ak'Anon. EQtraders does not list any Gnome cultural smithed items. Does anyone know FOR SURE if there are gnome-only smithed items? I have not tried to use this forge with my gnome, but can you just smith everything in it, except that only gnomes can use it?

The Clockwork Observer armor is Gnome only and crafted but it is tinkered not smithed, so maybe they get cultural tinkering instead of smithing.

EQtrades says that stuff is tinkered. Perhaps it used to be forged.

According to EQTraders.com the only culutral gnomes get at the moment is tinkering. Maybe the addition of the forge was just a programming oversight, or a function they never finished.

The Ak'Anon cultural forge currently serves no purpose in the game. There is no gnomish cultural smithing (they can wear dwarven smithed goods) as Tinkering is the gnomish "cultural" tradeskill. This comes up now and again on EQTraders where people ask to either give them damn thing a reason to exist or get rid of it already.

I tried a regular combine and it did not allow it. So I agree it may be totally useless, unless it is really a stationary toolbox (chuckle).
