elemental flagged: you have killed all the relevant planes of power bosses and are now able to get into elemental zones (eart air water fire) and tower of solusek ro. everyone can get elemental flagged from lvl 46+ but you either need:

a) a raiding guild
b) lots and lots of patience and go on open raids.

dont neccesarily have to kill em in order, but ya gotta kill em all.

Which may or may not require you to kill your chosen diety. As a pally of Mith Marr I can imagine what this will do to my faction.

you dont need to kill the 5 minis in sol ro to become elemental, all the 5 minis do is allow you entrance into sol ros chamber without getting "gimped" in so you can kill sol ro.

If you read the GoD/OoW lore, it is far from Honorable Combat...

Yeah you can get some good gear from LDON's but I find these POP things just alot of FUN! There are also some very impressive items that drop off the gods and LDON armor is not quite as good as elemental patterns.

That was confirmed to be ONLY RUMOR. They are not planning on adding elemental level gear to LDON at this time.

well for starters you can only buy points on FV, so most people have to actually do the LDON's to get points. (and out of curisity, what is the going cost on augments on FV? My quess is you need some serious plat?)

Lets do a quick calculation for a piece of ldon armour (numbers rounded, this is just quick thinking). Lets say 1500 points for the base item, then 3 augments at aruond 800 points each (which is probably a bit low, but lets run with that). You're looking at around 3500-4000 adventure points to get a piece of armour thats approaching Time quality.

even if its only 3500 points, thats 68 adventures at level 65 (52 points each adventure).

Doable, but if you have enough time to do that many adventures, you may was well raid.

Timed gear = gear you get from the Plane of Time. It does not disappear or anything.

To gain access to the Plane of Time, you only need the following five things:

Complete the keying event for the Plane of Earth B (it shows up on your key ring).

Kill Fennin Ro, Xegony, Corinav, and Rathe Council/Avatar of Earth events.

You can be "carried over" by the raid for all these events so you don't have to have Elemental Plane access. I was able to zone into Time before I was able to zone to PoWater (on my own).

Top end LDoN gear is close to Elemental Armor and Ornate armor, depending on class and if you ignore the focus effects from the Ornate/Elemental armor. For a cleric, the stats on the top LDoN armor rivals the elemental armor and exceeds the stats on ornate. For warriors, the LDoN armor is closer to Ornate than Elemental. Granted, just the focus effect alone make the ornate worth it, without having to find/buy an augment to accomplish the same thing.
