#1 Jun 12 2004 at 8:04 PM Rating: Decent
Just got new spells at 49 and having a hard time finding a good place to solo without dying.
I am not a quadder. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks)

You can root-rot the wyverns in Cobalt Scar if you can stand watching other druids kill 4 in the time it takes you to kill one. Likewise poachers in Jaggedpine Forest.

Griffons, snakes and wisps in Jaggedpine are unquaddable so you might feel happier doing those. Griffon meat is quite saleable and every willowisp drops a GLS.

Both these places are decent exp at that level.

I am told that Spirocs in TD are similar as well but have never tried them

The castle right before you go in the "Secert" way in to Nardox. All the guards there should still be blue and nothing roams around there I can remember. They do have a high resist to snare, but I don't recall having to snare them. Just cast root / dot / dot / dot / root /blahblahblah.

Good luck.

I'm not a quadder either, so my druid has been in Jaggedpine forever. She's still there at 54. Do the wisps, griffons and snakes. As long as you're in wolf form, the only agro you'll get is from poachers and potomeids (sp)

QK CS, rot in Nadox or JPF

At 49 as a druid you have alot of very good spots to solo. I know you say you are not a quadder and I have to ask the question why. I don't know if you refuse to quad or if you don't know how. I had an online friend show me how to quad and I have not gone back to root/rot unless i am farming. If you do want to move up to quadding, the spirocs in timourous deep is a great spot at 49-51. Your new "rain" spell at 49 makes this very quick and painless. I was in TD at level 39 with the lower spell and that was very hard but the xp was great. Then I would move up to the wyverns in CS. If you want to know more places to root/rot go to eqcastersrealm for druid guides.

Thanks for the tips guys, JPF has been fun. Have also done some quadding praticing there on griffs. Getting the hang of it I think. Once again thanks for the input)).

hehe a druid who doesnt quad? mad i tell ya mad, quadding is great fun and not ALL that hard to learn. you should learn how to use every spell available to ya to get the most out of the game. another good place to quad at that lvl is dsp at the hopper caves, just invis up, run into the cave run past the first 4 hoppers you see then drop invis and run like hell back outside where you can start snaring em. if ya get good you can pull all the hoppers in the caves and kill em all (not advisable at ur lvl tho) hoppers drop hides which sell for insane cash on bazaar too.
