big problem when i play eq i am desperate and need helpFollow

my problem is when i play in everquest. i move the mouse and the pointer moves so slow like in slow motion. it's like i move the mouse then the pointer starts moving after 5secs that's pretty bad i believe since pointer should move as i move the mouse. both should move at the same time. it's so frustrating that i havent played for almost a month. THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN THE GAME. i've tried every possible solution they have in the search knowledge base but nothing seems to work. i got no more programs running in back; updated the mouse driver; its an optical mouse so no dirt... and also i thought that it could be lag in game but this problems gets worse when i play in LDoN and that's not a place with much lag. if fact it works better in pok. if any1 could help me with a possible solution i would really appreciate it. if it's too big the solution to post it here e-mail me please iamisteright@yahoo.com. i am desperate to fix this problem. thanks for cooperating and helping. it is appreciate it.

If its a wireless mouse change the batteries, otherwise increase the mouse sensitivity in options

Try changing to windowed mode and back and see if that helps.

What video card are you using, and the specs on it?

Well, when you say knowledge base, does that mean the tech forum at eqlive?

http://eqforums.station.sony.com/eq/board?board.id=tech

there are a lot of possible fixes for different mouse problems if you type in mouse or mouse lag in the search at the bottom of the page.

Of course if that doesn't work, maybe try turning your models off or other features and then check and see if it still causes problems.

Other then that, post your computer specs. I could've sworn I read about a problem similar to this where a file became corrupt and you had to delete it and let the eq patcher redownload it. Maybe I am mistaken, but try reinstalling eq if you haven't already.

Hope you can find a fix, I had to deal with a very annoying stutter bug which apparently the dx9 patch fixed.

Sounds like molasses mouse to me, something I get in certain new world zones. Could you post your system specs and when the problem started?

You might also post this to the tech support forum here.
