Wondering what wepons druids are good with. Do they use staff, or a knife? I would be happy if they could use a sword

Druids can use 1 and 2 handed blunt weapons (Such as staffs, maces, and clubs) as well as Scimitars. Scimitars are the only bladed weapons we can use. For your early years i'd suggest going with a one hand blunt weapon. I'd reccommend getting a Velium Etched Stone Mace from the bazaar. Can't go wrong with it's quick speed and added Stats.

In the long run however, if you plan on getting your epic, you'll want to keep those 1 hand slashing skills up. That's something I've never done heh..so I can't reccommend a good scimitar. But, those are our three choices for weapons :)

There aren't too many decent 1hs weapons for a druid unless you have quite a bit of money. One of my alts is a 35 druid and he's using a mistletoe cutting sickle (around 1200pp depending on server.) Anything better is gonna cost much, much more...

Plenty of 1hb available though and as was suggested velium etched stone mace is probably best bang for the buck.

I have used this silver sword of yalrek for the Defiance look. If you couple that with a parrying dagger, you will never get asked for a buff again ;)

That blade generally sells for 500-2k these days.

It's been years since I worried about weapons skills, so my info is out of date. But I used a screaming mace for 2HB, an obsidian scimitar for 1HS, and some lame 1HB that I can't remember until I got a Dark Ember from the orc camp in Eastern Wastes.

I'd suggest doing a bazaar search. Just watch out for the dreaded level requirements.

I am level 56 and don't have my epic yet, but I use a Delightful orb of Forgotten magic, procs at lvl 55 for 320 (it is 1h bash). Not bad got mine for 6k. But my eye is set on that good ol epic :) However I think my 1h slash is around 120 lol so I should probably skill up but as stated before I couldn't find anything worth using for a druid that wasn't 100k or better...

Just my 2cents

My mighty lvl 10 druid is using a velium scimitar I picked up in the bazaar for 5 pp. It's not too great, and the crappy 12 point proc has a level requirement of 25, but it was cheap, it lets me work the skill used by my epic (haha, I'll get that soon), and it is better than anything else I could find 1hs for a druid without spending way more than I have on this character.

Bear in mind you can buy a Coldain Velium Scimitar in Thurgadin for around 100pp and it procs at level 1. At those levels the 12 damage is probably more than you hit for anyway and there is a chance to proc even on misses.

If you want a mean looking sword then the Zraxthil Flamberge is druidable and even has WIS +1 on it. They are usually about 20pp in the bazaar.

My druid was lucky enough to obtain a Mistletoe Cutting Sickle for the price of the gems and other ingredients involved. I had gathered components for the Solstice Earing and my GM tradeskill friend was able to make an extra sickle. For 2HB I use a Groaning Mace and for 1HB an Iksar Berserker Club. Groaning Mace was like 100pp and my monk got the club to drop.

Celeni uses a Ceramic Insence Burner of Ro and a Tactician's Bulwark has done for quite a long time now.

When she was younger she used a Crystal Chitin Shield and a Cone of the Mystics, seemed a good combo.

Aeleni uses a Staff of the Earthcrafter suits her very well.
