EQ Offline?Follow

so u want to run a minilogin server from comp ok go to this link http://www.eqemulator.net/main.php go to forms make a account if u like but go to tutorials and how tos look through the stickys for how to setup a minilogin server but i think they might be broken for a while not shure oh one thing dont ask for any files its aganst rules but u should be able to get help use thwe search option if u need help

heck i might even consider hosting a server and playing from time to time like that.

Reguardless of SOE's nasty TOS, I see nothing wrong with a person playing EQ offline in there own way. I used to use one of those EQ emulators but it just vanished, and it was VERy buggy. Last I used it you would Linkdead constantly (even with a local log in). It also would crash you about every 3 or 4 times you zoned. If your expecting the game to be exactly like the pay servers you will be dissapointed. Its basically meant as cheat servers so people can say YAY I SOLOED THE SLEEPER!! I guess I can thank the eqemulator for my knowledge of the sleeperstomb even though I have never gotten a key for that zone.

Only reason Id like to use one is so I might actualyl see some of these elemental planes, time, and gates zones that more then likely I will never see (even though I paid for them).
