Major problem with Luclin Type terrainFollow

This is more for my g/f's behalf than mine. I'd thought I'd try these boards since Sony's customer support is just sucking right now. (Never even mind tech services, I havent seen a GM on my server for about 2 months.)

So here goes: Her computer used to run EQ fine be4 the DX9 patch. No problems what so ever. She is running a NVIDIA Geforce 4 with 64mb of DDR ram. Her big problem is that any type of smooth terrain (from luclin, PoP, etc.) is either glitched badly or just not even visible. The terrain im talking about is the smooth one that usually makes up most of the zone's ground. She can see structures, and anything "brick like" fine. So I was wondering if there is anything she can do to fix this? It's really not pleasant zoning into PoN and only seeing the trees and not the ground. Note that older world terrain is coming out fine wihtout a problem, the problem lies with how they use the terrain from the luclin expansion onward. Hopefully someone can help, thank you.

Did she do all the stuff that SOE suggests like:

Delete and repatch dx8.dll
Delete and repatch eq.ini
Delete and repatch all UI files and files associated with character names?

Does she use a custom UI? This really isn't the MB to post this on but there's a couple of things to try if she hasn't already.

The SOE support forum under Tech has a couple posts with all the things to try if you have DX9 trouble.
