Hi all. I am a level 6 Shaman, and I am looking to get a decent weapon. Right now, I still have the one that I got from the tutorial (modified starting weapon). I would like to get something that would increase my damage output. I have a little bit of money, pobably about 10pp. I have checked out the bazzar and everything there is kind of pricey. I am basicly looking for an intermediate quest that I could do. I have help from one of my buddies (lvl 8 paladin) so I would be able to group. I am not a newb, but I am definatly new to this class. If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what weapon you are using now but I would suggest doing your newbie armor quest from your guild.
Most if not all classes have newbie armor quest which end with a final test which rewards you with a decent weapon and in the case of the shaman class it is the Cudgel of Justice.
This quest can be obtained by talking to (assuming you are a barbarian) Balgros McMichael.

More info on this quest can be found using the links to the left.

Good luck and hope this helped.

Aside from the cudgel quests given by your guildmaster (iksar - don't know about others), you might watch for a crystal grinder. They sell from NPC merchants for 13p and aren't likely to sell for a whole lot more from players.

Get your self over to East Commons, and collect silks from spiderlings, and pelts from cats and bears. Sell them in the bazaar (they will go very quick), or use them to make leather padding.

The reicpe says low quality bear pelt, but low quality cat and wolf pelts work also. Combine 2 spiderling silks in a sewing box to get silk thread. Combine 2 silk threads with a low quality pelt to get Leather Padding.

If you combine a skinning knife in a sewing kit with high quality pelt you get a medium quality pelt. Skinning knife plus medium quality pelt gives you a low quality pelt. Do not do this with High Quality Bear Pelts though, as these sell for 30pp on their own.

Leather padding sells for 20-30pp each. It should not take you long to make a 1000pp, plus these will be exp mobs for you, plus you get to learn some tailoring.

Then go buy a decent kinda pricey weapon.

Alternatively, you could also go to Butcherblock and hunt green goblins for XP and cash at level 6. If you're an evil race be careful of the dwarf guards, for they will attack you. If you are a good or neutral race this area can turn over some very nice coin and XP to boot. Around level 10 look at doing the goblin warrior camp.

This is actually a very good place to hunt. If your faction/charisma are good enough, you can sell the heads and bloods which drop on almost every kill for around 4pp each. Four of the runnyeye warbeads can be turned in at the Warriors guild in Kaladim for faction and a little more coin. Once the goblin camps are broken (not too hard to do, either) the spawn is slow enough that you can solo them pretty well from level 7 and up. Just watch out for the goblin wizard spawn. He's a little tougher and definitely hits harder with his spells. I made several hundred pp off this camp over the weekend while leveling my new druid.
