Spell Awareness need to be activated?Follow

My 40 Cleric just spent his first 6 leadership points on "Spell Awareness". Got the credit on the Leadership Window, but unable to make a hotkey. Assumed it is a passive thing. Made an extra small window and filtered "others spells" to it. Went on an LDON, and all I get is "So and So begins to cast a spell". No details. What am I doing wrong? I have a 40 chanter on a second box standing right next to me, and get the same thing.."Jazzer begins to cast a spell". Help me activate or hotkey or filter this correctly, I know I'm doing something wrong! Thanks.
