RD is a pretty fun fight. Beat him with the AWNN before I left EQ. They did Mith, but I wasn't able to raid that night. Grats though Eiv.

Thursday was a real blast. I have been anxiously waiting to see Rydda'Dar (I had only seen it on screenshots before) for a long time, and I was quite nervous when we were starting the event, as Rydda was one of the two flags I needed for Sol Ro tower and the Eplanes.
I sent Jennock, who was going to WS tank the plate guy down before Rydda spawns, a tell just before you started. "Bet you 5 plat that you'll go down now :)"
Well, I owed her 5p after we were done. The fight went so smoothly that it was a bit of an anticlimax. I had expected him to be harder, after having being told by our MT that that dragon has some very impressive DPS.
After we were done I thought we were doing Agnarr - we love that target, it's much fun - but we were dragged into Sol Ro tower to fight the big man himself.
Now, in my humble opinion Solusek Ro is the best looking mob in this game, and he didn't disappoint me at all. What a sight to see him swing that big, badass flaming axe.
Don't really know why I made such a long reply. I guess I just absolutely love the Planar Progression system, the challenge and being part of one hell of a guild. When you're only used to BoT tables and LDoNs - which I was for a long time and I was relaxed about it - you just have no idea what this game has to offer in the later stages :)

To be fair to Eivissa I have died on the other 2 RD attempts when WS faded and RD flurried 2k hits on me 
It just so happened that even with 260MR the dragon feared me in the last second of WS and so the MT took aggro (as planned anyway) so I lived /cheer
I do not know why but our guild likes to send rangers to pull death touching mobs, and tank outrageous dps mobs on WS (till slowed) etc .. I think we like ranger sacrifice
