Suggestions on Upgrading/Comments on LagFollow

For the most part, I haven't experienced all that many bugs/lag in my EQ experiences...

The only time in the past that I really noticed lag was when I was in a tight space (LDoN) and there were a number of spell effects going off and filling my screen...

But today I went to Dulak to solo and I experienced some serious lag...Mobs would all of a sudden be right on me and diamondskin would be broken in an instant as if they were sitting there pounding on me for a few ticks...And things were very catchy when trying to turn, simlar to PoK...

I've only been to Dulak a couple of times, so is the zone in general laggy due to the detail of the graphics or is it more likely on my end?

I'm thinking about upgrading my system...I have 512 MB RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 graphics card...

What is going to give me the best bang for my buck?

Say I were going to get another 512 stick of RAM and a new graphics card...What are some specific graphics cards and some brands of RAM that you guys would recommend?

Which has a greater effect on performance, RAM or the graphics card?

I'm going to use this system to play EQ2, and I'd like to upgrade it so that it runs EQ2 smoothly...
