A plee to ANY uber Guild on Cazic Thule~!Follow

Heyas Everyone!

I'm doing a sort of a plee to try and get back into playing EQ again. I quit about a year ago and really want to dive back into it. I used to to be apart of the bigger guilds on Cazic (i.e The Relentless, Bloodgaurds ect..) and loved doing the raids. I'm wondering now if there are any large guilds still raiding that can use another. I have my new main (58 Warrior with some AA's), a 60th necro and a 51 Wizard. I know being only 58 is not worthy of being placed into a large guild but I'm doing a plee to any large guilds that would not not mind taking sub 65th lvl person under their wings? I've been apart of some pretty extreme application processes so whatever it takes I can get it done. Hope no one minds me posting this but, I'm really looking foward to join the game again in search of the glory days of raiding with friends. Thanks for any considerations!

(I can post all the info about my character if somone needs it)

I wish you luck in this plee. I think a few things are working against you at the moment.

I will start this off by saying that I am generalizing many of the large guilds out there, but I feel that it is still accurate. Also, I see larger guilds as being one that advances through the content, and not just large in numbers.

1. Unless you have a friend in the guild, I doubt you will get invited.

2. Larger guilds have minimum level requirements for a reason. Level > all in terms of raiding. Being level 65 on a raid means tons more than being level 58.

3. Due to the flagging process that is involved in the high end game, there are many larger guilds that are sick of the back flagging. Most larger guilds have minimum flag requirements since doing that back-flag is a waste of time.

4. Warriors are in low demand on most servers. Some classes, like clerics, stand a chance at getting in a larger guild at a lower level, but not warriors.

5. Larger guilds hate equipping people. While they won't say "you must have the following gear", they will take a look at what you have versus how long it will take you to become useful. For a warrior, equipment means so much more than other classes.

6. In terms of AA, once again there are some minimum skill that you should have. Most of these will be Class type AA which are level 59 minimum, and you haven't even reached that.

Here are my suggestions...

A. Level, level, level.
B. Hook up with a lower guild that is doing the lesser flags.
C. While leveling, try to get into camps that you can get gear upgrades, or camps that you can get item to sell for gear upgrades.

CT is an old server and there are many at 65, so getting a 58 warrior into a raiding guild will be almost impossible, I'm sorry to say.

But your wizzie would be a different story if you could level him up. There seems to be a shortage of high level wizards and some of the raiding guilds actively recruit them, even poaching from other guilds.

Just to give you an idea, my guild has recently made it into the Elementals and our requirement for warriors is currently 65 with 150 AA's. Prior to getting into the EP's I think it was 30 AA's.

Even with your necro, I think you'd have a better chance than with the warrior.

What Wayen said was good advice, get 65 before you worry about any more AA.

Getting a 65 into a raiding guild on cazic is impossible. Most of the higher end cazic guilds require 65 and 150 aa's plus certain flags and even then you might not get in depending on your class. There are up and commer guilds that are just a few flags into the pop progression but they usually only take 60-65's no exceptions although they are lax on the flags and aa's. Quite honestly at 58 you prolly don't have any flags at all so a high end guild is gonna have to flag you all the way to where they are and being that your 58 you have very very little to offer them.
