newb monk question 2HBFollow

#1 Jun 01 2004 at 2:21 PM Rating: Decent
Hey all! Started some weeks ago a human monk. Have fun with her and skilled all the time hand-to-hand, dual wield and 1HB. Question now (at lvl 14): Is it important to skill 2HB too? I only know few 2HB weapons and they all are slow and not very helpful. Is there any sense to level this skill up? e.g. awesome weapons or other things, that could give me a kick to start with this skill. Would appreciate any info you could give, thanks

Without a doubt, keep your 2hb blunt up. There are some amazing 2hb's out there suited for monks once you get some levels under your belt. I think you will find most monks 55+ have a 2hb wep in their ********

A friend of mine didn't work on 2hb until his 40's. He found a mosscovered branch (they still exist in the bazaar - rare but can be found) and got his skill to about 150 in a few hours.

Personally, I would use my practice points. Put them in the skill that you lack completely or just need to make better. Monks don't need to spend many of the practice points so you should have a few saved.

Otherwise, find a low delay 2hb weapon and have fun. :)
