OK heres the set up, a halfling druid, a barbarian warrior and a high elf wizard are always grouped together. For some reason, the wizard seems to be lagging behind in exp, even though everything is killed in group, every one gets exp, so and so forth, any idea why?

Thanks for the help guys.

Halflings will get a 5% exp bonus, and barbarains will get a -5% exp cut, (though im not sure why.) So im not sure why the wizard lags behind.

The wizard is lagging because warriors get a 10% bonus.

Thus the Halfling (+5%) and the Warrior (-5%+10%=5%) both have an equal bonus while the wizard has no modifier.

I believe classes are on seperate exp tables still, which may be seperate than having a bonus.

Anyway, there's probably a bit outdated site, but you can see from that chart a wizard levels a bit slower than both druid and warrior.

Of course, that site also has hybrids at a major exp penalty (which was eliminated a while back), so take it with a grain of salt.

Another possibility is if the wizard is the group leader and is getting 20% leadership experience, instead of regular experience.

Just a note on that table. The class penalties have been removed from the game. However the bonuses have been left in. So warriors have a bonus to exp recieved.

Racial penalties and bonuses are still in effect. So the halfling will get a small bons (for being small and annoying I suppose). I think barbs get a *small* penalty. All the flavors of elves and humans are the same IIRC.

So yeah, the warrior and the halfling will exp slightly faster then the High Elf Wizard.

We made sure no one was getting leadership exp.. i hate that crap. Well thanks for the help on this.. it was confusing as to why the druid and warrior were leveling faster (although slight, but noticable) than the wizard.
