I've read there are NPC's in Rathe Mtns and West Karana that you can talk to and get your adventure stone from them.

I've read they are "neutral" and that good or evil can talk to these folks and get the adventrue stone.

Anyone know if this is true and where in the two zones these NPC's could be (both zones are pretty big).

It is true.

Look under quests in those zones I think I saw "Adventure Stone" listed.
