Can't Log In!Follow

OK, i was away from EQ for about a week. And I try to log on last night, and the login screens are different and it won't accept my password. It says "Login requires a valid EQ subscription. Please make sure you have this under the Billing Option." My subscription was working just fine before this new login patch came out.

So, i click on 'Account'...it takes me to the 'Station' site where it asks me for a code key. I try every single code from every single EQ CD that i have bought. None of them are accepted. I just get a message saying "That code has already been used." So i cannot get into my account to check on it. I can't log on to EQ, and I can't check or update my subscription.

Any feedback on this matter would be most helpful!

Thanks,
Redfoot

I don't know if this helps or not, but someone posted about the caps lock key not working with the new login screens. If you're using it for your password then try the shift key instead.

You're not the only one. The same thing has happened to me. I tried my EQ password, my Sony Station password, changing my Sony Station password, all to no avail. I am now killing time until the live help chat opens up. I sent SOE a tech support e-mail indicating that I was _not_ happy, but rather than wait for however long it takes them to decide to answer, I shall kill an hour which I could be online and see if the live help chat can actually help. If I get anything from them, I will post it to this thread. Wish me luck :)

OK, so I stayed up until the on-line support chat came up and spoke to a fellow there. He directed me to a place where I could have my username sent to me and my password reset and sent to me as well.

http://eqlive.station.sony.com/support/accounts_billing.jsp

When I had my username sent to me, I realized that I had a username on the Station and one on EQ and that they were different. I had of course forgotten this and when they did the patch and changed the login screen, it threw out my username and since I was not used to typing it in, I remembered my Station name instead of my EQ name and thus my password would not match up. Smiley: banghead I'm not saying this is your problem, but it is a possibilty that is worth checking out. When they send your password, they reset it to something new that they send you and you should immediately go back into the Station and reset it it to something that you want and can remember.

Hope this helps you out. Smiley: smile Good luck.
