Chardock QuestionFollow

I met a toon that had a piece of gear that gave him ally faction with all those that reside in Chardock. It allowed him to walk freely around the place. I am searching for this, does anyone have any idea what the name of it is?

I am starting to work on my Necro Epic and I am to the point of tackling Chardock. I figured if I could get in and scout the path till I knew exactly where I needed to go to find the Greenhouse where the Grand Herbalist is then it would make taking a group in much easier. I attended a group that was living off maps and in the end the entire party wiped but myself and the guy with the faction item.

Any help would be great!

I do not know of an item that grants a faction adjustment to Chardok.

Are you sure the person said that it grants allied faction, or is allied faction required to do the quest for the item? There is the quest from the Herald and Queen for a decent ring and wrist item. Good faciton is required to receive the quest from the Queen.

**edit**

My cleric, rogue and bard are all liked (to varying degrees) by the mobs in Chardok. All three can walk around freely, and "faction" pull mobs to the zone line. The worst thing about the faction is that you still need a rogue to pick the locks to get to the royals.

Hey Jose, I think you are talking about this:

Di'zok Signet of Service
https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6903

and

Regal Band of Bathezid
https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6903

The factioning you need to do gets you max ally. I know because I have both rings and yes I walk around Chardok without a problem.

It makes PvP there really fun :>

The goobies outside of Droga are really good faction for this.

Hey Boge,

Rufin (Rogue) showed me something that gave him ally faction. Perhaps it was what your speaking of I really can't remember. We were trying to get to the Herbalist for another Necro when the raid party wiped. He lived cause they of course never attacked him and I lived because my FD worked. I questioned how he survived and he showed me a piece of gear. In such confusion and trying to get me out without dying I really didn't get a good grasp of it.

I read about killing those outside of Droga they say you only need 3500 kills to get your faction up! That is as bad as killing the kobolds in The Warrens for a key to The Hole or killing around Queynos to get my faction back to go to my home city! LOL You lose it fast and regain it ever so slow.

Push comes to shove I guess I will go killing outside of Droga.

It's worth it - I know that I plan to do it after I hit 60 or so. The rings are nice and you get..spirit wrapped cords (i think) as a quest option, which is a very nice item for a nec.

Max kos to max ally is something like 3500 faction hits. Killing outside Droga (or in old Nurga/Droga) you get one factoin hit. Mountain Death Salts are worth something like three faction hits to the Herald.

To walk around you need to be dubious or higher. So you won't need all 3,500 hits.

Collect the salts and skins off of the gobbies they are talking about. Take those to the herald at the entrance to chardok. I am a non kos cleric and our guild uses a 2 non kos cleric approach to single pull the Herblest, Prince, King, and Queen. Also if you become Non-kos there is a very handy bank and vender down there. The vender has the cheapest food that can be bought that lasts forever.

Sounds like what he showed you is simply his reward for getting high Chardok faction. I don't know of any items that give you higher Chardok faction when worn.
