I have recently joined a fairly new guild, and I myself am a fairly new player. The majority of our guild members range between levels 25-35. What would be a good zone for us to raid. We want to start now in raiding to build experiance for when we reach the higher levels and start raiding bigger mobs. Plus we see this as a fun way for the guild to hunt together. If anyone has any suggestions on a good location it would help a lot, and also what size raiding party we would need for the zone. Thanks in advance for any help.

ToFS (Tower of Frozen Shadow) in IceClad Ocean works well for those levels. It is basically a series of floors, each harder than the one below. You can go up as far as you are comfortable.

Splitpaw would also work but because it is now a "hotspot" you may find it full where it was previously empty.

You could do the Drachnid Queen in Crystal Caverns although that might be challenging if you are mostly new players.

Wherever you go be sure to read up on it well first. For example ToFS has keys between floors and you need to get one per group (or have someone run in circles ferrying groups). Find out which mobs they drop from.

Another thought for those ranges is an LDoN Raid. Though, if not all have LDoN then yeah, ToFS is a great place. I still have fond memories of that place, and the loot is nothing to sneeze at either.

Thanks for the info so far. I'm thinking ToFS may be the front runner right now. Is it possible to actually raid a LDoN? I thought in there is was restricted to the 6 people groups. We are hopeing to have 2 full groups show up for the raid and then maybe pick up extras as we move towards our destination.

LDoN raids require an average level of 63 and are aimed at minimum Elemental Planes geared.

If you like fun look to old world zones.

You could probably raid the likes of Karnors Castle, Kaesora and LowerGuk. These zones provide fairly easy killing and more importanly 'fun' at those levels Smiley: smile
Some good loots may drop for you and the journey through old zones is a lot more fun than grinding away in yawn filled Luclin or PoP which only become fun in the later levels Smiley: wink

You may even be lucky with epic drops.

Funny you should say that. One of the reasons we are trying to organize a raid now is because Monday a couple of us went in to MM with a small grp (3 or 4 can't remember right off) We were looking for more to fill out the grp but the only other people in the zone were a grp of 4. So we decided to set up a mini pickup raid. Brought in a few more people and went to town on everthing that crossed our path. Was lots of fun until the ranger pulling decided to bring the Dark Huntress down for us to try. Of course as soon as he did 2 more Ancille popped and soon most of the raid party was running or dead. Still had lots of fun though.
