I play on saryrn and on there we just do /ran 100 but when i went to xegony then they do something diff they roll 500-1000 and if the number is say 672 everyone does /ran 672 is this common or... what hehe
Once upon a time the random function could be faked.
Because in the old interface the line length and font was fixed you could make a macro that looked like a roll. Or so I am told.
using /ran to determine the scope of the subsequent roll prevented this.
I know people who roll 3 333 and 0 1000. Anything will do it is not even server specific, it is down to guilds and groups.
