But then again...I am kinda biased

Biased: a preference or inclination, especially one that inhibits impartial judgement.

Easist to level from 1-65:

Halfling cleric. since clerics get into groups easier than any other class at all levels and halflings get 5% xp bonus.

most fun to play:

Personally i think a Dark elf Sk has to be the most fun i have had in EQ, the spells are all agressive and the class has a nice mix of melee/spells

Best class is hard to say really, it's situational and opinionated at best even with the best of players at the helm of each class.

That said if i had one slot in my group left and i could choose anyone <best player in eq at that class> i would take a bard, a really well played bard makes more of an impact in a group than any other class in the game.

The problem with bards, is that they are so hard to play that maybe 10 people on a server is capible of getting the most out of one.

My reasoning behind this statement is i played with a bard in my guild <LDoN, Xp groups & raids> for 6 months, i thought this guy is really good.

Then i got in a group with one of the Bards from Hoss <Dro uber guild> and he was doing 10 times as much 10 times better than my friend, no offence to the guild bard just the shear skill level was on another level.

oh and halfling clerics suck. In fact all halflings suck, thats why they get an xp bonus so people will play them.

I'd go with necro, druid, or enchanter as most fun to play. Melee classes are kind of boring to me since they just stand there and either try to do a lot of dmaage or try to keep agro. Not much skill involved there. Of course it depends on the person who is playing and what they like.

easiest...necro/de or iksar
- proly the least gear dependant and least group dependant class. mana regen is no problem so little downtime and when ya can't get a group/don't want a group you can solo away.

funnest...monk/iksar
- you get to pull the coolest mobs and when ya get yourself in a sticky situation you can just FD (hoping your skill is good enough for it to work). FD can make soloing a blast too. if ya can't beat em or pull too many you can just drop and rise again to beat the life out of em.

best...cleric/just about any race
- what cleric has a hard time finding a good group? clerics even most often will be able to get in groups a little higher than themselves too permiting their heal will be of use making exp go fast. and what cleric has a hard time getting their guild to help em out with their epic...?

All classes are good if played well but no rangers are not good at pulling, unless they are in an outdoor zone when harmony makes them effective.

The pulling classes are:
Monk: all levels but slow and subject to FD fails
Paladins: from 15 to mob level 55
Sk/Necro: from 55+ when they can start Pet pulling
Cleric/Chanter: but they need an assist or they end up MT <not ideal>
Bard: not sure when they get thier first Lull song but i would put them Top of the pile as far as pullers go.

I am sure people will argue for other classes but these are the main one in my experiance.

Funnest/Easiest for myself: my Vah Shir Berserker. Been alot of fun playing him to level 14 so far. He's tall too...which is a nice change from my Wood Elf Druid. Funny to see the Crushbone Orcs like they were little kids or something.
