Window modeFollow

Okay, I know this can be done as I have done it in the past, but for the life of me, I cannot remember how to switch to window mode when you are playing the game so you can toggle back to Allakhazam while playing :)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Alt + ent to get to windowed mode, the alt + shift + R to get get control of your cursor. You may have to do the later more than once, I always do.

This is how I play EQ, so I can chat via AIM while Im playing. Very, very helpful. Doesnt seem to slow my comp down too badly either. Alt + **** + R R (I have to do it twice, for some reason) should do the trick. :)

I seem to be crashing in windowed mode of late. I've used both normal eq and eqwindows and if the screensaver come up sometimes the eq window with go blank and freeze. Other times when I switching between windowed and full screen the window will go blank and I have to cntrl/alt/delete.

I have had trouble switching via ctrl-enter (in winXP) since the DX9 patch; I get the black screen of death. I have since given up that this will be fixed and I play in a full-screen size window so that I can still alt-tab.

I have the same thing as well, not all the time though. I haven't noticed any patterns of when it happens though, just seems to be random.

A side note, I've also found that if you start to lag when otherwise you wouldn't, going into windowed mode and then back tends to fix it.

Start up 2 applications such as notepad or explorer, then start up EQ in windowed mode. Alt-Tab to each of the other apps and you should be able to move your EQ window after that.

Once EQ isn't the primary or secondary window it will let you move it around.
