NON PVP server question?Follow

If I were to start a new toon on a server that is NOT PVP which would be the best to find groups on and after getting to a high level finding high end raid guilds?

I love RZ but the PK's simply make it impossible to experience many zones in the game. My frustration level has finally found it's limit.

Rather than me suggest a specific server (everyone has their favorite), at your server select screen, sort by population and pick one of the more populated ones and try it out :)

High level raiding guilds and pretty decent ratio of groups, come to Brell.

Torv has at least 4 different guilds that are time enabled, at least 3 of which are even now recruiting (and always have been as far as I know). Groups aren't to hard to find unless you play a non group friendly class (read druid in early 50s lol).

If you come over send a tell to Manth or Taldaas.

Bristlebane also has a number of Time enabled guilds, and at least one, that I know of, working towards that goal. The server also has had a pretty decent core of "independent" raiders.

Now, as far as a good class.. Just about any class that you can play well will do. Lately, my wizard has had a few inquiries about joining guilds, with comments like "we could always use a few more wizards". I bet that someone could say this about most classes.

Bottom line, pick a higher populated server and learn whatever class you choose well. :)

Good Luck!

clerics are always in high demand as are chanters. the RP guild i was part of had a hard time keeping those two classes as the ubb3r raiding guilds would get them most of the time once we helped them get some real good raid xp, and got them to at least 60th, if not 65th.

so if you are looking for a high end raiding guild desire, cleric, chanter, DPS would be my sujestion.

I stated this in another thread....if I could of done it over I would of been a Dark Elf Necro instead of a Human Necro. If I go to another server I would be a DE Necro. I haven't gotten the Necro out of my system. I have yet to find one that I have enjoyed and I have started many and trashed them.

That being said...I would just start over level 1 and up. No moving accounts just start over new.

Now that I know more about EQ I do have some goals that I would like to work towards when I started Josetteee I had no concept of EQ.

DE nec was my main. as a class/race combo it to me was a great combo. played perfectly into my playing style. i often only get 1-2hrs max game time in 1 sitting so a nec. was perfect for me.

very easy to master, solo, and could group well when needed.

high level necs are hard to come by in some of the ubb3r guilds on Terris-thule server, but the 2 main guilds there have several 65 necs with 4k hp unbuffed. must be nice to have hp like that, not to mention caped INT too.

Actaully, a lot of high end guilds would love to have more necros as well. Yes, it sucks that most of the desire is for more mana batteries, but it is a way in.
