In light of the new regeneration and Bind Wound changes, I'm starting to wonder if I should skill up in Bind Wound. I've been playing a beastlord as of late, level 37 right now, and honestly the only reason I have for downtime is healing spells draining my mana.
I realize I get a nicer heal at level 39, but even that will suck the ol' mana pool dry very fast over the course of a few pulls. I don't know any beastlords that really use the skill, but the way I see it, if I can regenerate about 20hp/tick after a few minutes, all the while patching myself with bandages, I could make my downtime next to nothing and have mana to cast the DoTs and nukes that I very seldom use.
Anyone that uses bind wound regularly have any suggestions regarding this? It seems like all melee classes will have a much, much easier time being decent soloists now. I'd also like to ask, is it worthwhile to get an embalmer's skinning knife(http://www.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=3945)? A weapon proc as opposed to a clicky item seems useless, unless it either summons a lot of bandages at once or can be triggered in another way. I don't want to have to wield this thing for 30 seconds to get my bandaids mid-fight. Thanks
