Hi, Jim Nesselroad here.
We have a group in the 40's: 43 cleric, 42 warrior, 47 druid.
They have been fighting in the Dulak/Gunthak area and doing OK. We have decided that we really need a caster and have gotten a 17th enchanter to level up.

Currently we are in Netherbian Lair with Temp on both ench and pet, and using the druid to pull, slow, and keep a damage shield on the pet. But it is going slow.

Any other ideas for powerlevelling quicker?

Also, did a neat thing with my 22 necro: Went to bazaar and bought a few 100 plat weapons--- highest damage available for 100pp. Gave one to the pet in Netherbian lair and it ROCKS! The pet is doing so much damage, hitting in the 50-60 dmg range, that the necro doesn't get much aggro at all from the DoT spells.

If you are looking for a great way to get alot more damage output, give that pet a high damage weapon!

PL your Chanter to about 24 in Paludal Caverns and then go to the 3 shroom camp just before the Sanctus Seru zone in DSP.

one thing that You could do, (I have done this to my friend) Is go to dulak, and take something down to about 4 or 5%, then you zone and let the enc take it out.

ok correct me if im wrong, but since when do Druids get slow?

best way for a druid to PL at those levels is as follows:

1. DS pet/player
2. regen both
3. AC/HP both
4. heal as need by, should not be often with regen at that level.

have the player pull as much as possible, stand there and melee for all its worth. the pet and the player will get fast xp ONLY if you do at least 1 point of damage before the DS kills the mob.

if you do not do any damage to the mob and the DS kills it, then the druid gets the xp. in other words no one gets anything as the mobs are to low for the druid to get xp off them, and the player being PL did nothing to the mob to earn any xp.

with this meathod in PC (dont take over one of the bandit camps, get up and do the pharg things) and just keep em coming non-stop. i did this with both a cleric and a warrior. not at same time, but the xp will fly. went from 12-24th in about 4hrs or so.

now this means my clerics casting skills SUCKED, but thats ok, at 24th he got greater healing. time to spend about an hour with C1 or CII casting lowest level spell skill classes maxing them out for that level, then back to PL.

do the same thing.

once done with PC, there are a few other places to go and do the same thing. once the chanter gets higher, keep with above, but also have chanter haste his pet. with a DS, NEVER NEVER NEVER slow the mob as the DS is what eats them alive.

IIRC the mosquetos in echo cavern are an other great place for a DS, as they hit extreemly fast, but not very hard. pull em all and let them die on your DS. that will get you to low 30s, then you can start grouping with the rest.

once you are 32nd with chanter you definatly can group with the 47th druid for xp. it is questionable if 31st will be high enough or not.

I don't know if this is always true, but I have found that as long as the lowest level cons light blue to the highest level in a group, the low one will get exp.

I think the highest level can only be 1.5 x the lowest level.

just a guess but i am assuming he means snare since it does slow the mob down and keeps him from running away

yes its 1.5 of your currently level is cap you can group with, but there are some levels that will round up, others that will round down. 31st will get you to .5 within the druids level. thus i dont know if SoE has 31st set to round up or down.

snare i can understand, but snare has nothing to do with the mobs attack speed like slow. HUGE differance there.

Go To PC, get 24 in a few hours, then go to Mistmoore and get to 30 then group with the rest of the guys.

At 24 to 30 stonebrunt is a target rich environment. Has a bonus but not shure if its as good as mistmoors. You wont have to worry about trains however.
