Spirit Of WolfFollow

Which type of wolf drops the vial?

Can a vial be used by itself.

Am Paladin and the potion size is very expensive and know I don't have the spell.

Thanks

Vial of Wolf Blood is the name of the potion that is brewed by Shaman. It is not a drop its from a tradeskill (Shaman only).

On Vazaelle you will typically pay about 5PP a shot, not cheap for a new player.

You can quest for some boots (Watchman's Boots) that will give you 5 charges of SoW, and you can do a much harder longer quest for some boots (Journeyman's Boots) that has unlimited charges (slightly slower than normal SoW though).

It's actually called Blood of the Wolf. You can find it in single dose, 5 dose, and 10 dose versions. All are crafted by the Shaman class using the Alchemy skill.

That is sad. The component cost with maximum charisma is over 5pp. How is an honest shaman to make a profit if people sell at cost. Normally a 10-shot sells for 75-80pp on the servers I play. Not going to make anyone rich but at least it pays for a few failures.

To the OP:
At 31 you are getting close to being able to go mano-y-cyclopo with the AC in South Ro and get yourself a pair of J-Boots.

I would reccomend the J Boots...One of the Best items worth questing for:

They cast instantly (even on the run)

No charges to consume

and a nice red spell effect to boot. :)

The worst part is the 3250 gp you have to carry while trying to catch that guy in the Rathe Mnts. (Bring a friend!)

Carry 325pp instead. Much lighter and works just as well.

Similarly for those doing the Lodizal Shield hand-in although Bung asks for 10,000gp he will happily accept 1,000pp.
