OK before I get to far into this, I am warning you that I can get around a computer but not a wiz at it.

I downloaded a new ui that shows my experience in %, it simply says to put it in the uifile folder and upload in eq. When I get into eq, it only shows my default. Could someone give me a better heads up on what I am supposed to be doing to get this to work please?

Another question, off this subject, but I am working on baking and my skill is around 170 now. I have been making misty thicket picnics so you know you need to do alot of other tradeskills to do this. So my question is, where would I find stat items for drinks? I would like to work on brewing too.

Thanks in advance for any help :)

What you need to do is create a new folder under uifiles. So there would be 2 folders one called default and the new one that you created. Then put all the files for your custom ui in the new folder.

Once you enter the game, go to the options window. There is a button for loadskin. You should then see the 2 folder names. select the new folder and loadskin.

under...
>program files>sony>eq>uifiles
is where you want to unzip the ui to. I should create a new folder in there.
When you get to EQ type
/loadskin
and a menu will pop up with the available skins.

If that doesn't work go into the new folder and make sure that the ui files aren't in a seperate folder inside of the new one.
For example'
>uifiles>whatever>"all you ui files here" is the correct way
>uifiles>whatever>whatever>"all ui files here" is wrong

If that still doesn't work download the ui again and redo it.

As for brewing skills try http://www.eqtraders.com it will has a good list of recipes and ingredients and the like.

Good luck!
