I play on the Ellosis Marr server and I have not run into more than 10 people in Freeport, so where do most players hang out in-game?

Plane of Knowledge, The Nexus and Plane of tranquility are the most popular bind spots and pass through zones.

How do you get to PoK? Is there any way to check the total amount of players on each server?

where players congretate depends largly on their level. What lvl players are you looking for?

To check the total number of people on your server type
/who all

To check the number of players in your zone type /who

To get to POK there is a stone book in a secret tunnel in the wall just outside of the gates of west freeport.

Hmmm, you have to be someone who used to play EQ, and quit, then came back. Freeport was busy a few years ago, but not since 3 expansions ago (PoP).

I would like to know where all the lower level players are hanging out at as well.

I zoned in to the Oasis of Marr last night to hunt and I was the only one in the zone....got jumped by a madman and a drybones and had to make for the zone since there was no one to hear me if I yelled help.
All of the old zones I am used to playing in and having to fight for mob's are deserted now.
Things sure have changed in the time I have been gone.

Anyone have any ideas as to where I might look for people my own level?

By the way I'm on Erollisi Marr as well. :)

You will find a lot of people level 20 and up in Butcherblock since this is where the most popular (easiest IMHO) LDON camp is and smaller numbers at the other camps (N Ro, Everfrost, S Ro, as well as East Commons - in the tunnel where the merchants are). Note that at level 15 and up you get access to Adventurer's stone with the LDON expansion and once you do this you can port between these camps (and Nad's Landing to get to GoD areas) by talking to the Magus.

POK is accessed through the portals (they look like a pedistal with a book on it) which are scattered through many zones - there is one in BB near the Dwarf City for example, and 1 each near Felwithe and Keth as well.

Avoids having to take the boat to most places.

At lower levels, Crushbone and PC are popular spots to pick up groups.

I have been in crushbone for the last few levels and have done fairly well for myself there.
Question, what is PC and where is it located at?

Thanks

Greetings,

PC is Paludal Caverns, and is off Shadowhaven on Luclin. There is also a connection at the other end of the zone to Shadeweaver's Thicket (Shar Vahl newbie zone).

You will gain experience there quickly, but you will also experience some of the worst behaviour! Smiley: rolleyes KSing, camp stealing and trains abound - but if you can get a decent group and grit your teeth, it will be over quite quickly... Smiley: smile

Hope this helps.
