We'll I'm just woundering does EQ allow voice chat. Because I'm gonna be getting EQ in a few weeks and wanna know if I should get a headset for voice chat.

No, but I use Ventrilo with game sounds off.

Damm Somy should really add voice chat to EQ. It would make the game more enjoyable because you could talk to people and it could be especailly helpfull in groups.

I've used Teamspeak with SWG and it works well, you just start it up before EQ, and connect to the server where your desired chatmates hang out... Not sure about how to make your own server, cause I haven't done it, or tried...

All in all, I'm more comfortable typing, and since I play several female characters, awkward questions/accusations come up less...

"I'm sorry you fell in love with my Wood Elf girl, but that might have more to do with your problems than mine..."
etc...

I have used Yahoo voice chat since I started EQ. I have my EQ sound turned off and chat with who I play with regularly.
