LDON Question at level 15Follow

Have returned to EQ after a 2 year hiatus, picked up LDoN, and started a new character. Upon achieving level 15 last night I received a text regarding a "mysterious voice" and Adventuring. I followed the voice's directions and learned some knowledge on the Brotherhood, which I then had to regurgitate to one of the Brotherhood NPCs in a game of Question and Answers.

Each answer brought me "one step closer" to becoming an Adventurer and improved my status with the Brotherhood. I then received an Adventure Stone.

What is it I completed? What can I do with LDoN between now (level 15) and the minimum Level 20 for the expansion? Can I actually improve my status more, even while below level 20?

Thanks.

You can use it to teleport around to the different wayfarer camps. Sometimes it can save you a little time by not having to go through PoK, that's what I did with it when I first got it.

I believe it's a group average of 20 or more so you could atually get a group .... Maybe.

Other that doing adv there is no way of improving your standing with the brotherhood.

Thanks guys. I hadn't considered that someone has to be somewhere around 5 or 6 levels from you to enter an Adventure. Perhaps I am eligible for a Level 20 Adventure at 15?

Thanks again.

Another benefit (i guess) is that with your stone, you can now use the Magus (at each LDON camp) to quickly teleport around. I.E. you can talk to the magus in the East Commonland tunnels and teleport directly to the ldon camp in Butcherblock, north ro, everfrost, etc.

I thought that for LDoN adventures, there could be no greater than a 7 level difference in your group.

Looking in the manual I see it says, "all members must be within 6 to 10 levels of each other". (pg 5)

Unless that's been changed with a patch?

true but look at it this way five level 22 one lvl 15

total levels in group 125... 125 divided by 6 = 20.8 so your group level would be over 20 with everyone within 7 levels.

The 7 level limit only applies to LDoN other than that you can group with anyone 1 1/2 times your level past 20. <or something like that.> so lvl 30's can group and gain xp with anyone lvl 20-45.

Good luck getting any LDON at 15.

I had people /tell me "Haha, you're too low" and "You need to be level 20" so many times it just got old.

It almost doesn't matter if it will work or not, if no one will group with you - and this is a CLERIC character :) .

Me, I'll never know as my cleric dinged 20 last night.
