The most strange corpses I've ever seenFollow

#1 Apr 29 2004 at 2:58 AM Rating: Decent
Today, while hunting some dwarfs at the BB dock with my dru, I found some corpses which I had never seen before.

Those were some mobs' named Captain Wiggins, Mad Jack and Lilia the Vain.
The most strange thing about them was, when you consider the corpses, you can see the resurrection time! Burning with curiosity, I tried to rez them with my cleric but nothing happened.
Those corpses contain Nodrop bandit sashes, but you can never loot them.

I'm dying with curiosity, Does anyone know what on earth they are for???

Bandit sashes are used to turn in for Queynos faction.

You can't turn them in if you can't loot them!

The bandits in the Karanas are the ones for the sash quest in Qeynos.

If you try to loot the sashes, they diappears from the looting window, just like when you try to loot a Lore item that you already have. And of course, they are not Lore.
That's why I said you can never loot them. They can't be the sashes for Qeynos.

I think the badit sashes are only some kind of hint telling you what those dead NPCs are - bandits, of course - and where they are from - Probably the Karanas - 'cause you can only see them and are not able to loot at all.
I'm kinda assumming that, on some condition, I might be able to actually REZ them and get some reward.

I'm pretty sure that I didn't see them 2 days ago.
Might be a new quest updated.

Hm that's funny you bring this up, a couple weeks ago I encountered those same pirates(plus a one-eyed bill). They were all green to 65 and were controlled by gm's talking smack about how they wanted to steal our women and kill the dwarves and took my gold that i offered em. They just up and left, not much to it. One thing they mentioned that made me think what they were their for was that one eye'd bill said," There's only 10 under level 30 in this zone." So i assume that ONLY those under level 30 can throw down on these pirates, as i could not attack them.

/shrug --- sucks you couldn't loot them, but don't think it would've done a heck of alot a good.
