I came down to my trader this morning and found the "Expeditions Window" open. It looks a bit like a raid window only different. Like a cross between a raid window and an adventure window.
Looking up the help it explained it is for "Expeditions" into instanced dynamic zones (sounds like GoD).
Is this new or is it just that my trader is the only one using the default interface and my cats study typing at night?

They have some new instanced zones, I guess we will get them sooner or later, maybe its been partially patched and your cats have indeed made a new discovery?

Nope, Morden Rasp where this happened.
Curiously I was exploring the help earlier yesterday trying to make my enchanter pet go away and I noticed a bunch of commands beginning /dz????
I wasn't looking for them so I didn't pay attention. These are the command lines for the expedition (dz=Dynamic Zone) functions.
I never did find how to banish an enchanter pet since the /pet go away didn't work. I just got it into a fight it couldn't handle and let it die but it made me feel bad. (N.B. No invis and in the middle of WK so no handy zoneline)

The only ways I have found to get rid of Enchanter pets are:
#1 Let him die. (this of course leads to enchanter death soon after)
#2 Zone
#3 Go invisible. If you are invisible the pet can't see you and goes away.
