What is the note that turn BACK in to Brother Hayle? Is it a tanned splitpaw note? I handed in my 4 items to him and he took the sword the hilt and thetestimony and gave me back some" other note". Do you take the note from the bankers assistant to brother hayle and then what?.....so many questions

When you turn in the key in Highkeep, you get "A Sealed Note". You give that to Brother Hayle, and he hands you back "a note", then tells you what the pieces you need to collect for SoulFire are.
You have to give him back the "a note" he handed you, plus the other three bits he asks for, to get SoulFire.
