I'm a 36 druid and want to know about KEI. Someone told me this stands for Kodiacs Endless Intellect. Is it a spell? Do druids get it? What does it do?
Thanks

Yes,
It is a spell, Enchanters(?) get it. When cast on you, you regenerate mana at 15/tick or 150/minute. It is also called c3.
Different versions are called c1 and c2, slang for Clarity and it's upgraded version.
C1 and C2 can be cast on you at lower levels, but also give less mana regen/tick.
Kei can last from a couple hours to almost four depending on the casting party's enhancements.
Kei can be cast on you from level 44 on I believe.
Stay away from it as it is very addicting.
I warned you...

KEI (Koadic's Endless Intellect) is 14 mana/tick, not 15. It also increases your mana pool by 250. It can be cast on you when you are level 45. It is more desired than higher level Enchanter spells that give more mana/tick because it lasts for nearly twice as long.

People will often pay between 30 and 50 pp per cast, depending on the server. If you don't want to spend the money on a spell that costs the caster nothing more than mana, then you can wait for the kind soul who will cast it for free, or for an MGB (Multi Group Buff) to be cast. Usually MGBs will be cast in the Plane of Knowledge a few times a night. Note that most other high level spells can't be cast on you until you are 46 or 47, depending on the spell.

Game on,

we seem to get MGB just about everything from KEI to Brell's. It is pretty reliable. The folks that MGB are just great. One shout of MGB "whatever" at the <insert location> results in insta-lag at that area. I love MGB's and I love folks that give 'em. Of course, it happens alot more on the weekends, sometimes 2 or 3 within about 30 min...so if you missed one, just wait for the next. Hats off to the MGB'ers!

I play on Kane Bayle. I see MGBs most often after a guild raids, and some people's MGBs have repopped and they just feel like using them. Often one person will decide to /ooc "MGB KEI at Nexus stone in 5 minutes" and suddenly there will be "MGB Virtue along with it" and "MGB 7 also", etc. Sometimes even MGB 9 and kitty crack too, depending on who's on. But usually they're not from the same guild, just people randomly deciding to do it. Sometimes though it's a "guild-sponsored" thing. Some enchanters don't like getting bugged to have KEI cast and so they just MGB and that's all anyone gets. A chanter friend of mine MGBs right before he goes to bed for the night, after he's done LDoNing.

Since KB is so small, I don't know why we would have so many more MGBs than another server...perhaps the people are just nicer. Smiley: smile There have been many times that I'll get ported into PoK just in time to get some MGBs...of course, just as many times I will get ported in just in time to miss them...and sometimes I'll go AFK by the bank or by the Nexus stone and when I get back I'll have gotten an MGB. I'm not complaining!

maybe, maybe that has something to do with the small population.

a good thing about MGBs is if there is a /ooc castin MGB kei in 5 mins behind the bank, there usually will be another shout a min later of /ooc MGB bot9 in 5 mins behind the bank, and then Fo7, MGBs are like busses, you wait 2 hours for one, and then 3 come at once

Maybe I missed it above, but just wanted to add that KEI is a level 60 chanter spell. The line starts with clarity and then goes to Clarity 2 at level 52 (only works on those level 45 and up as I recall of the top of my head). Whole line is popular with any mana using group, but KEI is the much preferred version due to the time element - I usually have to recast C2 a couple times per group member on a typical LDON while KEI often lasts more than 1 LDON.
