Eruds Crossing (wisp Island) FerryFollow

#1 Apr 20 2004 at 4:03 PM Rating: Decent
I went to the island for the first time with my 21 paladin (morden Rasp). I killed everything (except sharks) on the island and died only once. The problem is I killed the cats! Now my faction has kept me from getting off the island. I cant ask the cat to transport me cause she just wont answer a hail. I went to the net and found very little info on the ferry that passes through there en route to Quynos. I cant find anything about a time schedule for the ferry nor requirements for the ferry. I've never seen the ferry anywhere before. Which leads me to wonder if its one of the two expansions I dont have (dungeons and legends). Can anyone tell me how I can get off this island? I already died and would hate to kill myself just to ask someone to cast me back. I lost enough exp already.

Just a note: This island rocks for drops. The vampire bats drop 10-15 items and the one with the pet even drops a great newb wand. The wisps didnt produce many greater lightstones but my inventory is full and I have alot of quest items I needed. I highly recommend anyone 10 and above to go there. The exp and money is great. DONT KILL THE BEETLES!!! You'll get your *** kicked if your solo. And perhaps kill everyone on the island with you.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm "shoot'n from the hip" on this one, since I've never been to the zone. There was some information on EQ Atlas that might be of help. Good luck getting off the island.

p.s. Also check the faction setting on this site to see if there is any way to correct the faction hit with the Kerrans

The translocators are all gnomes. Try swimming around under the docks and looking for one, if (s)he isn't standing on the docks. Sometimes they fall through into the water and just swim around. Another option is to stand on the dock and type /tar trans and that should hopefully target the translocator even if you can't see them. Then hail and see if they respond.

I had to do that recently with a soulbinder. I knew there's a soulbinder on the Iceclad dock, but I couldn't find him above or below the water. Finally, I typed /tar soulbinder and he showed in my target window, then walked around saying "Bind my soul" until he popped out of a pillar and did his job. Never would have found him in a million years otherwise.
