I have a question for anyone who has paid to move a character from one server to another. As I understand it, now they will move the character and all his equipment and plat.
What I'd like to know is, do all your character flags and trade skills transfer? And of more importance, do your hotkeys, keyboard mapping, colors, spell sets, and chat windows configuration transfer as well?

I moved from one server to another BEFORE you were able to take your gear with you. Everything will stay the same. Custom UI's, friends lists, hot-buttons, etc.... are mostly saved on the client end(being YOUR computer). That also means that if you make characters with the same names on OTHER servers, you will use many of the setting and hot-keys of the original character and that if you change them, you change them for ALL the characters of the same name. That can be a good or bad thing....
Flags, skills, stats, and gear are all saved on their servers so will all remain on a move. The only thing that might change is gear. If you move without gear, obviously you won't have it on the new server. Also, if moving from the Stormhammer server to another server, you will lose any gear that is not yet released on other servers yet.
Good luck with the move. I personally don't recommend moving unless you happen to be going where you already have friends. just my

I'm not much of a computer geek, so I don't really know what all is stored on my computer. I suppose those are the ini files.
