Starting EQ and a 3D errorFollow
Ok, so I upgraded my computer finally and tryed to start EQ again after a 2 year hiatus. Now, however, I'm getting an error after I patch and hit "Play". The error says "No 3D Devices Found". I updated to DirectX 9.0 thinking it could help, but still nothing...anybody have any ideas?
Yeah, don't worry...I fixed the issue. Appreciate all the help.

How did u fix the 3d error i have same promblem?
Having your video card drivers installed usually helps. That seems to be the case whenever I reformat and it doesn't work.

The fix is to apply the latest Direct X release/patch from Microsoft. There is mention of it in the tech support board at eqplayers. I'd link it but I can't reach the site from work.
Installing DirectX9 is the solution.
