ok...so i get the fact that even non-members can hyper link, thanks to Kao's oh-so-gentle way of informing me.
question is now, how to i make the link, but it appears as something else...ie; the link to www.whatthehellever.com would come up as "Click Here"?

Links
There are 3 ways to do links.
http://anything will automatically be linked in.
you may deliberately define links as links, by using [ link ] text to be linked [ /link ]
You may also deliberately name links by using the following syntax: [ link = http://URL GOES HERE]TITLE of link goes here[ /link ]
All tags here work in Signatures too.
take out all the spaces i put in there, if i left them in there it would have created links rather then show you what to do

Actually, the answer was in front of you the entire time. :P
When you are writing a post or reply to a post, there is a toolbar abox the box you write in. Just below the toolbar with the B i U etc.... are links that say [markup help] and [smileys help]. Those will tell you how to add smileys and make links.
